We purchased a package of 5 private dance lessons to prepare for our first dance. My husband and I are admittedly bad dancers. Our instructor Larry was outstanding. He was patient, helpful, and friendly. He met us at our level and helped to elevate us to a place I didn't think we were capable of! He took our song and cheoreographed a dance for us and helped us to look good doing it. By the end, we wanted to invite him to the wedding! He was amazing. I highly recommend Dance Bethesda and Larry to anyone who wants to dance to impress.

Highly recommended! From our first complementary trial lesson until our final lesson, everyone at Dance Bethesda (including our awesome teacher Rosario) was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and fun and never made us feel awkward for not being dancers, and they had a reasonably priced wedding package. We had so much fun taking lessons in preparation for our first dance, that we're thinking about continuing after the wedding!

My wife and I purchased a package of 5 lessons to prepare for our wedding first dance. I was initially skeptical that I would be able to pull off anything with all but the most basic choreography, but our instructor, Larry, did a wonderful job instilling confidence and tailoring a dance that matched our personalities and skill level. The end product was cute, fun, and our wedding guests enjoyed the dance almost as much as we did. Even the staff at our wedding venue said that it was the best dance all year -- not a bad compliment for a December wedding! We hope to start attending some classes at Dance Bethesda in the New Year since we had so much fun with the private lessons.

In a word, "amazing"!!! We are in our 60's who showed up with 4 left feet and a song we selected for our First Dance. We met Michael who assured us that we woudl be just fine. His instructors taught us the basic steps in group lessons and then he choreographed a truly beautiful dance routine. He then fine tuned our technique and at each lesson added a few twists and turns that made it even more special. Michael is a joy to work with and makes you feel so confident.
Throughout our First Dance, there were cheers, tears and applause. Afterwards, our children were stunned, and our guests also raved about our dance. Perhaps the best summary of what they said comes from our brother-in-law who sent us his TOP 10 Highlights of our wedding. This is what he listed as No.6: Sandy and Steve's first dance (best first dance ever...none is even in second place)
We will always be grateful for all that Michael and his initial instructors did for us. We are sure you will be too.
